Entertainment will also include an original version of “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”At no coincidence, this song is best known as the Black National Anthem. This isn’t the first time Glayds Knight has sung the anthem at high-profile events. ![]() Additionally, the NBA notes Knight graduated from Shaw University in North Carolina - one of the oldest HBCUs in the country.
